Inspections
As the common areas of Student Accommodation properties are just that, common to all the students living in the property. Our office inspects these areas frequently to ensure that the property is clean and tidy. It is the responsibility of all tenants to clean up after themselvesand common areas are closely monitored.
Our office also conducts formal inspections every 12 weeks (under the Residential Tenancy Act our office is able to do four inspections in a 12 month period). After each formal inspection, a comprehensive written report including digital photographs is forwarded to you incorporating; recommended maintenance and any information relevant to the care and custody of your property .
Tenants are notified in writing of a forthcoming inspection and we invite them to be present during our visit. This is done both as a manner of courtesy and to encourage residents to discuss personally, matters affecting their residency.
